The Dalton Academy is thrilled to invite students, families, and community members to celebrate its Annual Homecoming Parade on Friday, February 27, 2026, featuring this yearās theme, āA Whole New World for Pumas.ā
Homecoming day will kick off with a schoolwide Pep Session at approximately 10:00 a.m., building excitement and school spirit throughout the campus.
In celebration of Homecoming, students will be dismissed early on Friday, February 27, allowing families and the community to take part in the afternoon festivities.
The celebration continues in the afternoon as parade participants begin staging at Trinity Methodist Church at 2:30 p.m., with the parade officially kicking off at approximately 4:00 p.m.
Parade Route:
Begins on Mitchell St.
Turns right onto Ave C
Turns right onto Morningside Dr.
Turns right onto Veteranās Ave.
Finishes at Trinity Methodist Church
Spectator Parking:
Old VFW parking lot Street parking on Ave C (near the fields)
Community members are encouraged to line the parade route and enjoy an afternoon filled with creativity, music, and Puma pride.
Following the parade, the boysā soccer teams will take on Calhoun High School. The junior varsity match will begin at 5:00 p.m., followed by the varsity match at 7:00 p.m. The eveningās festivities will conclude with the Homecoming Court Coronation during halftime of the Homecoming Varsity Soccer Game, marking a special moment to honor student leaders and celebrate The Dalton Academyās vibrant school community.
