Family Lunch Visitors
Parents and Families,
Beginning Tuesday, September 8, we will begin allowing visitors to eat lunch with their students.
Students have 30 minutes for lunch. Our cafeteria has recently been renovated, so family lunches will now be held on the stage. To help with seating and scheduling, visitors will be assigned specific days based on their child's grade level.
Family Lunch Visitor Schedule
Monday: Pre-K & 5th Grade
Tuesday: 4th Grade
Wednesday: 3rd Grade
Thursday: 2nd Grade & Kindergarten
Friday: 1st Grade
Please note that siblings in other classes will not be pulled from their classrooms to join family lunches.
When visiting for lunch, all visitors must check in at the front office before going to the cafeteria.
We look forward to welcoming our families back for lunch!

Down syndrome is a genetic condition where a person has an extra copy of chromosome 21. Thatâs why the date 3/21 was chosen!
To celebrate, we will be joining the âLots of Socksâ tradition. Socks are worn because chromosomes look a little like socks, and wearing fun, colorful, or crazy socks is a great way to start conversations and show support.
So this Friday, donât forget to wear your craziest, most colorful socks to school!
Letâs celebrate inclusion, kindness, and what makes each of us unique, and make sure to share your crazy sock photos with Mrs. Collins at anna.collins@dalton.k12.ga.us

Come out and cheer on our Jaguars as they compete for the championship. We hope to see you there!

World Down Syndrome Day is observed globally on March 21 (3/21) to represent Trisomy 21, the genetic condition that causes Down Syndrome (3 copies of the 21st chromosome). Since the date falls on a Saturday this year, let's celebrate on Friday, March 20 with the âLots of Socksâ tradition!
Students and staff are encouraged to wear bright, colorful, or mismatched socks to celebrate differences and support individuals with Down Syndrome. Socks symbolize chromosomes, and the extra chromosome in Trisomy 21 is represented by fun or mismatched socksâsparking conversations and raising awareness.
Celebrating promotes inclusion, understanding, and appreciation for the uniqueness of all students. So help us celebrate and make sure to share your crazy sock photos with Mrs. Collins at anna.collins@dalton.k12.ga.us
